The Beatles White Album Vinyl LP + Inserts, UK 1970 Issue Embossed, EX+/NM-/NM+

Description: A very nice example of the 1970 reissue of the legendary Beatles album. The sleeve is very clean and in overall EX+ condition with no damage to the laminate. Record one is in generally NM- condition with some very light surface marks on side one but side two is immaculate. Record two is in fantastic NM+ condition with absolutely minimal signs of play (most would list record two as MINT). The 4 x photo-cards are in great condition. The poster has one small tear on the bottom right corner (see photo) but is still intact and has no tears on the seams. Below are some factors that cement this as the specific 1970 edition: Gatefold cover. Issued with 4 glossy photographs marked Printed in U.S.A. in circle at the bottom. In some copies these photos are unmarked on rear as to their place of origin. Comes with a fold out poster with photos on one side and all song lyrics on the reverse. Poster says "Printed and made in Great Britain by Garrod and Lofthouse International Ltd.". Embossed lettering (The Beatles) on the cover. No Numbering distribution identifier on front of jacket. Rear of jacket is completely clean of markings. Glossy gate-fold jacket opens from the right hand side. Original sleeves marked " PATENT Nos.1,125,555 MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN " and " PATENT Nos. 1125555 MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN " ("An E.M.I Recording") and 'Mfd. in U.K.' displayed on all 4 labels. As for the record’s provenance, it was purchased new by my Dad in 1970 and has been owned by he and I since initial release. It’s a beautiful example of one of the most recognisable albums of all time and would be a lovely addition to any collection. The record will be securely packed and sent fully tracked and signed-for.
