Description: In regards to several of my higher priced Hawaiian music or artists, in most cases on my higher priced items from $40.00 to $200 when I sell or list an item my price is based on rarity and how likely will I come across this one again? I have hundreds of Hawaiian CDs in the $15.00 and under range with free shipping which are reasonablly priced,I do understand today's economy and I do my best to work with customers on my items, and on my higher priced items prices are based on rarity but also fluctuate when I find more of the same artist or group even if rare I lower my price, there are several artists & groups who are considered rare to find, not impossible but prices will be higher than norm, the last time I had this CD by the Aliis it was two years ago and it was my own personal copy,I priced it ridiculously never thinking it would actually sell and within two days of listing it sold! I was actually disappointed because it was my own copy that I had for years! I've been dealing with Hawaiian music for close to 40 years and until recently have not come across this one,I have my own inventory I go through daily but also source daily,I literally go through thousands of CDs every week and so when I price "high" it's because I know the average of when I will come across this artist or group again, yes I do understand it's a price not within reason but I did sell it close to that price last time I had it,and yes I know it's only worth what someone is willing to Pay* Hawaiian music especially in the late 80s or 90s was never mass produced compared to many mainland groups, they didn't make a million copies of this CD they probably made 10 thousand or way less I tried to find the exact production number and had no luck,I just know that the reason a majority of Hawaiian music goes "out of print" is because they make only a few thousand copies unless the person or group becomes super famous will they extend the production or make a second printing like say "Don Ho" an artist many mainland people associate with "Hawaiian music" this group was part of his back ground band, if you actually read to the end I truly thank you and big Mahalo! Just wanted to give some perspective as to what many of us on here go through in providing Hawaiian music to those that enjoy it. Experience the ultimate Hawaiian vibe with "The Aliis" album on CD.
