Description: We have been growing this pepper since 1992 when a Taiwanese woman had my husband over for dinner. She had made hot oil to use over the rice with this pepper. Don was so impressed with the heat and flavor he asked for a dried pepper for seed. We have grown it every year since. This beautiful pepper grows well in a container, or in your vegetable or flower garden. The peppers are quite hot, but very delicious flavor, so caution when cooking with them. Green, turning to red 1/2” to 1" 'pointing at the sky' peppers adorn the 1' to 1 1/2' x 1' to 1 1/2' plant. Beautiful and full of flavor.
