Description: This mega-sized beastly bivalve came from the north sulphur river in north Texas. This specimen has the bottom piece (or top, if we look at the perspective regarding how they positioned in the water), which is not as common! I didn’t personally find this one, but I know the guy who discovered it, so I know the original location. This area will soon be flooded for a new lake, so this particular locale will have an unknown (likely dire) outlook as far as finding similar fossils in the same area.
