The membrane strip is pre-coated with anti-SP-10 antibodies in the test line area. The antigen-antibody compound complex binds to the anti-SP-10 antibodies coated on the test area of the test device and forms a colored line when the sperm concentration is 15 million/ml or more. The colored line thus formed indicates that the sperm count in the semen is equal to or greater than 15 million/ml. If the test line does not appear, it means that the sperm concentration is less than 15 million/ml. The colored line is for procedure control. It always appears in the control line area and indicates that sufficient sample has been added and absorption into the membrane has occurred.
