Hall Of Fame 2 features a number of improvements over its predecessor, such as a new Shimmer (SHIM) type of reverb that has been highly sought after by guitarists lately, the number of slots for individual TonePrints presets has been expanded to three, and the icing on the cake is the MASH technology used for the first time, extending the device's capabilities with expression control without any additional accessories. Sounds unbelievable, doesn't it?Behind the MASH technology debuting in HOF2 is a special heavy-duty button with a magnetic inductive sensor, which, in addition to the traditional on/off function, is capable of recognizing pressure up to 10kg, thus providing information for additional modulation of the parameter of the reverb style just activated. In practice, pressing and holding the button activates the MASH function, modulating the assigned parameter, such as the saturation of the effect in the signal, modulation speed or volume, and the operation of the MASH is indicated by a diode located on the top of the device, next to the Decay knob. This makes the button that triggers the MASH function a full-fledged expression pedal, while in TonePrint modes it can be assigned any parameter the user wishes to have real-time control over. Hall Of Fame 2 features eight factory styles: Room, Hall, Spring, Plate, Church, Shim, Mod, LoFi, and three TonePrint slots, also with pre-installed TP styles, which can be replaced at any time with custom settings developed at home using the free Tone Print Editor.
