Description: Im selling this modified, vintage FIXED aperture projector lens (sample images have been lightly edited in lightroom) Name of Lens Block - Taylor Hobson Mount - M42 Filter Size - NA Fullframe, crop or film - All Focal Length - 127mm Aperture - F2.6 Focal Range - Approx 130cm to just over infinity Weight - 484 grams Condition of Lens Block - 8/10 Some dust and super light cleaning marks only My opinions on the lens - Beautiful and tough is how i would describe the cosmetic look of the Taylor Hobson lens, it has a silvery brassy type look which i think is very cool Optically the lens is a surprise to me, i wasn't expecting swirly bokeh but this lens has it! It works very well with such a tele look too, the separation is very nice and some 3d pop to the images as well Sharpness is good in the centre but the fades as the corners and edges come into frame, and the colours are quite "real" not too rich or too desaturated, and there seems to be no color casting Flare seems to be very well controlled which makes shooting in brighter conditions easier This Taylor Hobson is very interesting and i really enjoyed using it, i think if you like that swirly bokeh and want it on a lens of this range you will too For more of my items, check out my other ads for great items at great prices Thanks
