Named a Living National Treasure in 1996, Shimaoka’s work played a significant role in elevating Mashiko ware and the mingei aesthetic, leaving a lasting legacy in Japanese ceramics. ■ Condition Vintage Preowned ■ Appearance Appearance is beautiful.
