The hinged lids have egg carton style foam affixed to the top. The latch system is sturdy and can lock into place. They allow for quick and easy access to the contents, and maintain a tight seal when closed. For security, there are 2 holes for lock and key solutions as well. Durable and Protective These IP-65 waterproof, dustproof and airtight transport cases have a sturdy handle, and a tight rubber seal. They can be used at temperatures from -25°C to +75°C. Foam Details Internally, there is convoluted (egg carton) style lid foam, and a second layer on top of the P'n'P foam.
