Description: This is an Estate Fresh wood carving from a local Estate home. Its a SUPER SWEET WOOD CARVING of NOAH'S ARK by " MARCO " JOSE MARCOS GARCIA of TAOS NEW MEXICO. Just a very fine wood carving and a good size piece at 11" long. His works kinda seem to be fairly scarce. 2 on ebay, not as interesting, are asking price 475$. The one found on Mutual Art shows that it brought over 200% of the original pre-sale estimate. Its pretty desirable work! It comes in Very nice condition as described above and Pictured. This piece is 10.25" tall x 11" long. It’s a beauty!! Jose Marco Garcia was a Native New Mexico artist and has been featured at the Hispanic museum in Albuquerque. He was born in Dawson NM and lived in Albuquerque where he passed.
