Description: Super Joe Adventure Team: Gor, King of the Terrons ~~Holy Grail! Working electronics!~~ Here is a Gor, King of the Terrons figure from the Super Joe Adventure Team figure line with WORKING ELECTRONICS! Features a “Red Destructo Ray” imbedded in his chest that turns from white to red in color when you raise his arm! The battery cover is unbroken! This piece should be handled with great care. It was originally cracked and broken when I got it, so please note that the battery compartment was carefully reassembled but it is missing a small piece of the housing. As such, the battery must be carefully inserted, with the positive end facing DOWN. You'll need a thin object to gently lift out the battery. The button to light up the bulb works well when pressed but it may take a little troubleshooting to get it to remain on when not pressed. Also, his head wobbles and left leg is a bit loose. Please see all pictures. These Joes were were made during the Gas Crisis of the late 70’s and thus a much cheaper plastic was used. They became brittle and broke down. The Gor figure’s insides did the same, very brittle and fell apart inside. The line lasted maybe a year, and was quickly discontinued.
