Description: 16mm film, SoundieSugar Geise, the Mattisons and Harlans Coeds "Patty Cake Baker Man"Release date 7/12/43 Home market print (Castle Films), not reverse image Length: about 2:40Film stock: Kodak Safety Positive Date code: 1946 (triangle dot) No vinegar smell, no splices, replaced leaders Crazy vocal and dance number set in a kitchen with dancing chefs. The screenshots and attached film clip are taken from this print, but with a crappy old point-and-shoot camera. I just wanted to give you a rough sense of what this print actually looks like. Please disregard any bad focus, flickering, background projector noise, tilted image, brownish color, and other flaws that are the fault of the camera or projector and not the print. Soundies are the 1940s equivalent of today's music videos. They were made to be played on a Panoram film jukebox, but can be shown on any 16mm film projector that can play films with optical soundtracks. Original prints made for the Panoram will have a reverse (backwards) image when played on a 16mm projector; later prints made for the home market will project with a normal image. I have noted above which type of print this is. Please see my other listings for additional films. I'll combine shipping if you buy more than one Buy-It-Now film but you must (1) select "Add to Cart" for each film, and then (2) select "Request Total." I'll then send a combined invoice for you to pay.
