One of several Meissen figures I will be listing tonight An exceptional work by MEISSEN. Polychromed and gold gilt. Well-marked, with crossed swords in blue ink. Small impressed numeral "13." Stands 8 3/8" tall. Displays beautifully. There is one very very tiny 1/16" nick to one sharp point of lyre, that is very difficult to notice (see closeup in 4th photo). Flaking to backside at very bottom of base, possibly from the manufacturer. (see last photo.) Also a couple of faint lines in the same area on backside of figure, but these cannot be felt with a fingernail. These areas mentioned for complete accuracy. No other issues noted. No other chips, nicks, cracks, hairlines, crazing, stains, or repairs. GUARANTEED TO BE ANTIQUE and NOT A MODERN REPRODUCTION.
