Description: Up for sale is a Very Rare, First Omnibus Edition/Fourth Printing, (Impression), by Stephen King. The Shining, 'Salem's Lot, Night Shift and Carrie. Collected Edition, " COMPLETE & UNABRIDGED". Early Printings of this Title are Scarce and Becoming Increasingly Hard to Find!! Hardcover with its original dust jacket. Published by Octopus/Heinemann: New York, 1984. A First American Edition of this Omnibus Edition/Fourth Printing. Please remember this is NOT the First Edition/First Printing of this Omnibus Edition! If interested, we do have a TRUE First/First of this title currently up for sale. Feel free to message us for more info regarding that copy. This copy is the Fourth Printing of the First American Omnibus Edition. "Fourth impression, reprinted 1984" is clearly stated on the copyright page. The terms "Impression" and "Printing" are interchangeable. We typically use the term "Printing" simply because it's a more common term here in the states. Both words mean the exact same thing. This rare treasure has some clearly visible wear, but is still in Highly Desirable, Highly Collectible condition! The book appears gently read and other than a previous owner signature written on the ffep/first blank page, has no internal writing, no foxing, no remainder marks, no missing pages and is NOT Ex-Libris. The binding is holding tight and the pages are still surprisingly crisp and clean! Some general/shelf wear along with creases/scuffing/wear to the spine/corners/boards, particularly noticeable near/along the edges, toning/discoloration to the edge/fore pages, toning/discoloration to the pages and creases/marks/wear to some of the pages, NOT affecting the text! The wear is clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered. While the binding is holding tight and all of the pages are present and fully attached, one can clearly see some separation along the top edge. The area that connects the spine to the pages has some visual separation. This area/wear has been closely photographed for your consideration. As mentioned before, there is some internal writing! There is a previous owner signature, written in pen, and located on the ffep/first blank page. The writing/signature/page has been closely photographed for your consideration. The original dust jacket is fully intact but has extensive wear! Some general/shelf wear along with creases, scuffing and marks. Please note the wear on the spine, at the corners and near/along the edges! Please also note that the shape of the dust jacket appears altered. The inside front flaps have been stretched and the shape is visually altered. This wear is a bit difficult to articulate in words so we purposely photographed the jacket from various angles to try and give you a clearer understanding of the wear. The wear is clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered. We tend to grade the condition of our books rather harshly and took into consideration any and all wear when determining the value of this rare book. We purposely and closely photographed what we consider to be the most obvious and egregious wear. Once again, we want to reiterate that the wear to both the book and the dust jacket is clearly visible! All of the wear should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying. Numerous photographs from various angles were taken for your consideration/inspection. Please closely and carefully view ALL the pictures for further clarification!! Following the conclusion of the auction, payment must be received within three days or the book will be re-listed. Please feel free to contact us with any and all questions. We are very proud of our 100% positive feedback/ranking and offer an easy, no questions asked return policy so you can buy with confidence! Thank you!!
