Description: I am selling this vintage, rare, an all-time classicSTELLAVOX SP7 PROFESSIONAL Reel to Reel with POWER SUPPLYMade in Switzerland. It comes with the power supply shown in the photos. The tapes/reels are included as well. This is comparable to Nagra recording machines. Please watch the video that shows the SP7's operational condition. I personally tested this SP7 and found it in working condition at the basic level. First, as shown in the video, when I switched to PLAY, it didn't play until I helped a bit by pressing the wheel (tensioner?). When it started playing, the music came out fine. Otherwise, REWIND worked fine. I am not technically capable to tell the cause of not playing. I opened up the back cover and didn't see anything obviously wrong. I am not sure about the belt situation, or if it is responsible for anything. According to my understanding, the SP7 is in original form; no mods or alterations. Physical condition is good for the age. Typical wear and scratches due to use, as shown in the pictures. I advise you to inspect the pictures closely; they are part of the description.
