STATIC #1 Cowan Variant Cover Newsstand Edition 1993 Milestone/DC Static Shock

Description: STATIC #1, written by Dwayne McDuffie and Robert L. Washington III, with artwork by John Paul Leon and Steve Mitchell, published by DC Comics under the 'Milestone' imprint in 1993. This is a first printing, and is a variant 'Blue' cover, with cover artwork by Denys Cowan and Jimmy Palmiotti. This is also a newsstand edition, with a UPC code in the lower left corner of the front cover. This issue features the first appearances of Static Shock, and Hotstreak. The copy would grade at around VF-, with general light handling and shipping wear. There are light vertical lines toward the left-hand edge of the front cover, a light vertical 'lip' that runs parallel with part of the spine on the front cover, a 2" printers crease on the back cover, and other light marks. The pictures show the actual copy that the winner will receive. The issue will be bagged and boarded, and will be carefully packed for shipping.
