Description: Original Start Trek Painting of Captain Kirk (Chris Pine) by legendary Star Trek artist, Keith Bridsong. Painting was produced circa 2009 for a licensed product. Painting measures 10" x 14" and is in excellent condition. Keith Birdsong, a Native American artist (Muscogee Creek-Cherokee), is perhaps the most prolific Star Trek artist. During the 1990s, a decade that witnessed 3 different Star Trek series and several movies, Birdsong illustrated Star Trek book covers, collector plates, Video Game boxes, and other licensed merchandise. Keith Birdsong also did artwork for the US Postal Service, and his works are featured in the Smithsonian museum. Sadly, he passed away in 2019 at the age of 59.
