Description: This 1.5" sanitary butterfly valve has a squeeze-trigger lock and can be locked in 13 different positions. The handle is simply squeezed to rotate the valve gate and can be rotated 180 degrees for closure on either side. Butterfly valves are easy to clean and are lighter and more compact than tri-clover compatible ball valves. Made entirely out of strong 304 Stainless Steel. Butterfly valves are recommended for vessel outlets and fermenters, while tri-clover compatible ball valves are recommended for pump outlets and vessel returns.
