He does collect items with the type of stem this item has, so I don't know. The rim is slightly more than 7 1/2 inches square and slightly more than 9 inches tall.This compote or pedestal bowl is an old item that has been used. It has 0 cracks and 0 chips. It has straw marks and other manufacturing imperfections. It is ready to be displayed or used.
