They have been digitally remastered using the best equipment and techniques. These CDs come with the original liner notes. The disc features audio recordings that cover a complete trip on the South Shore Line electric interurban from Chicago to South Bend on September 15, 1962. Record SP-4: Records the entire run of interurban No. 108 from Chicago to South Bend. Made from the front platform; you'll hear the signal and warning bell, wheel clicks, motor hum, and the air horn, as well as city street rumble, fast rural runs, and starting and stopping.
