Description: I bought this bike as a used single speed and only rode it around the Yosemite Campgrounds. (you have to stay on the pavement in Yosemite)It utilized the White Industries ENO hub, which I've sold elsewhere.Anyway, it's intended for front suspension and 26" wheels, 135mm rear spacing (quick release)I don't know why the last owner defaced it with the paintjob, but it was successful in preventing anyone from stealing it.If you are building this up, I would consider and media blast and powdercoat to restore the gloryNo cracks but I did find a small ding visible in the right light. See the pics. Mostly its just thick poorly applied paint.I buffed off the paint at the BB just to ensure the brand and it looks to be Soul #48. Sounds early, but I don't have any info on prominance so I'm not claiming it's a first year frame or anything. Top tube is horizontal and 23" so I guess this makes it an XL If you have the chance to watch the video of Sean Walling's video of his framebuilding in Petaluma, Ca. please enjoy it. It is well produced and highlights his craftsmanship and the effort dedicated to each frame.
