It shot down 1,924 aircraft in only 16 months of fighting. The Camel was extremely agile and had a fast rate of climb. Although 'flown" once by Charlie Brown's dog "Snoopy", on TV, it's actual most controversial battle occured in 1918, when the great Baron Von Richtofen fell to the of an RAF 209 Squadron Sopwith Camel flown by Canadian Capt. A. Roy Brown. has brilliantly recreated this famous aircraft, down to the last detail. This 10 1/2" wingspan, 1/32 scale plastic model kit includes authentic decals, detailed cockpit interior and 9-cylinder radial engine compartment. The molded wing spars and supports, and dual machine are all there too.
