Play, Rewind, Fast Forward, Stop, Volume Control and Tape Selector all work flawlessly (see proof of function video) - Part that's responsible for FF and REW was replaced with a new and more durable one - New quality belt installed and all rubber rollers rejuvenated with Rubber Renue - All friction surfaces stripped of old grease and re-greased with low friction synthetic grease - Volume control re-lubricated - Corrosion on battery terminal stripped down to bare copper - Tape head cleaned and demagnetized - Slight adjustment made to payback speed to match a 3khz signal. No adjustments made with azimuth (factory settings were just fine) - Endurance tested with each function (Play, Rewind & Fast Forward) for several cycles - Headphone is a Sony MDR-010 (did not originally come with this Walkman but is of the same era - early 1980's) - Headphone earpads replaced with fresh ones.
