Description: Gorgeous cabinet size Smithsonite (zinc carbonate) from the Kelly Mine near Socorro, New Mexico. I have been buying gems and minerals for the last 9 years and have not seen anything approaching this Smithsonite in size and quality at the price I am asking. It has the beautiful turquoise color and the shiny lustrous surface that are the hallmarks of a high end quality Smithsonite! On one side is a vug lined with Smithsonite. Much better than my photos! I am an amateur photographer and do not photoshop in any way! Approximately 14.2 cm x 9.7 cm x 6.8 cm. 2.3 pounds. Photos taken using my i Phone 12. Not photoshopped.
