The exterior has draglines, scrapes and scattered finish loss, most notably along the rear edge and corners. The rear hinges work correctly and the lid opens and closes smoothly. The latch is functional and has started to tarnish a dull gold color. Most of the stained finish still remains. The interior has two molds, one flat piece on the inside top and one form fitted on the bottom. It is fitted to a 4" barrel revolver with a Target grip. There are no rips, tears or unusual wear. The flocking is intact and there is some light wear where the leading edges of the handgun directly touch the mold. Also, there is light wear in the molded tool areas. The blue finish is mostly intact. This box comes with a S&W screwdriver, cleaning rod and mop. They are all in working order with some light handling marks and scuffs, but no notable wear. This is a vintage wooden display box that will be perfect for your favorite S&W revolver. As with all used items, a light cleaning may be necessary to meet your standards.
