I don't know a ton about sewing machines but I spent about 15 minutes playing around with all the little knobs and settings and everything seems good and the motor runs nice and smooth. I ran a towel through the sewing machine with no problems and then I folded it in half and it went through that just fine as well. Because I know little about sewing machines in general, I would also recommend having someone look the machine over and having routine cleaning and good going through of the unit so that you know it's in tip top shape. PLEASE NOTE: I didn't see any bobbin on the inside of the sewing machine so none are included.
