Description: This Simon & Halbig 1079 antique doll is 21 inches tall. She has blue sleep eyes on which the eye wax is chipped. She has holes for earrings, nose dots and eye dots all properly place and four tiny white teeth. Her head has been lighted and she has no hairlines, repairs or other damage. She has an antique human hair wig in very good condition. This doll's body has its original patina and is in good condition except for some paint chipping at the top of her right leg. See photos. I have examined it and it looks quite solid but of course if the doll is roughly handled it is a weak spot. Her head will be packed to protect her eyes during her travels.
