Description: READ about these waders Simms G4z Medium Long (older model) These are a used pair of waders that have been taken care of, but there are a few minor battle scars from my many fishing trips. The scars:- In 2021, I accidently caught my waders on a sharp corner of my boat and it created a very small cut in the fabric. I patched the waders myself and they never leaked again. This is the pictured black dot on the left leg.- On the back of the waders, there is a belt loop that came unstitched. Personally, I think this is on the fault of Simms, that belt loop was way too wimpy. The little belt loop broke this year while I was on a fishing trip.- There is a protective tape on the neoprene feet that has come loose. It's very common on this series of Simms and the feet are still 100% water proof.- On the inside of the waders, there are signs of wear from fabric brushing together. This is simply cosmetic and doesn't effect the waterproof material of the waders. The background:I bought these waders new in 2019 and have gently used them since. I originally bought the medium size before returning them for this medium tall size. I'm 6'3" (36" inseam) and they fit my inseam much better then the medium regular size. I think these waders are perfect for someone with a 34" inseam. I've gained a little weight since buying these 5 years ago, and I'm looking for looser waders. These waders have never been used in saltwater, and they've always been cleaned and dried out after every outing. I always stored them in a room temperature space. I also keep the zipper waxed so it lasts longer. These waders can easily go another 5 years with proper care. Compared to other waders, I would describe these older G4z's as an absolute TANK. The fabric is extremely durable and thick. Maybe not your best friend on a hot day, but you'll love these if you're walking through thick brush like I do in Alaska and Canada. I held onto the original tags just in case I ever had to have a discussion with Simms for a warranty repair. Please reach out with any questions!
