Description: Sigma's APO Tele Converter 2X EX DG is compatible with Nikon F-mount digital cameras. When mounted between the lens and the camera body it increases the focal length of a dedicated lens by the power of 2. The APO tele converter uses Special Low Dispersion glass in 6 elements in 5 groups to minimize aberration and ghosting. The APO TC is a dedicated teleconverter lens. Please note some of the info required by eBay for listing, such as focal length and max aperture, don't apply to a tele converter! I bought this to use with a Nikon AF 80-200mm f2.8 ED lens. It mounts fine and increases the focal length 2X. However, it does not autofocus. It worked with manual focus and the results were sharp. It (surprisingly) worked better with my AF-S 70-300mm 4.5-6.3, but using a TC with a lens slower than f4 is problematic when focusing on distant objects in less than good light. The 2X teleconverter adds two f-stops to the exposure. This is a well made, quality lens. I'm passing it on to someone who can match it up with a compatible lens and really enjoy the quality.
