Description: As I recall Stanfield’s only made these about one year in the last century. It had been many years since they made a “Sweater” they certainly made sweaters during the Alaskan Gold Rush just like this one.The wool is slightly heavier than the grey Clark Kent shirt https://www.ebay.com/itm/251702594499 but just as durable and hard wearing. Due to it’s heavier weight and double thickness shawl collar it is quite a bit warmer. I have limited numbers and sizes all in gray. Does not appear as though Stanfield’s will ever make them again in the near future. I have yet to see one used here on the ‘Bay so I suppose all the people that bought them really like them. As a very warm super rugged layering piece, this sweater has few peers.
