Description: I got this a few years back thinking that I’d like to restore it. Those were good plans… that never happened. I’ve since turned my attention to restoring turntables. This poor thing has sat on the shelf. Every now and again I feel like it’s glaring at me… The good - pretty good condition but does need a solid cleaning. Powers on, sounds killer good. Cassette deck works. Radio works. The not so good - CD player’s linear control motor (circled in red) is not engaging. Some surface scuffing. The cd assembly uses parts that most major manufacturers also use. Sourcing a motor should be fairly easy. I don’t want to dive into it and I really don’t want to put it back on the shelf… I just need to move it.
