An SGC graded VG-EX 4 – 1964 Topps card of Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle of the New York Yankees. This example has good focus and clean borders. The corners are consistent with those found on most EX+ examples, with the exception of slightly more wear on the lower corners. There is a light diagonal crease (approx. 1/4" long) near the lower left corner that can be seen when the card is tilted to the light. It is somewhat difficult to see from the front, but is more pronounced on the back. Otherwise, the card appears to be free of any additional creasing. There is some light print snow in the background of the photo in a few places and also in the black area below the player's name. The printing on the front is shifted to the top, but all of the printing is still intact. The coloring on the front is a little light, but the card still displays fairly well. The printing on the back is shifted close to one edge, but is otherwise fairly clean with bold printing. Even with the flaws, this is still a fairly nice looking example for the grade.
