This is a vintage mini sewing kit, which were popular items, along with standard toiletries, in better hotels back in the day.The New York Helmsley became a Westin in 2012, however, this sewing kit has been in my husband's possession for at least 30 years. The sewing kit is in a plastic case, which is in plastic bag which is taped closed. Please see pictures. I have not opened the sewing kit, but it looks by the tape marks that the plastic bag may have been opened at some point.Approximate dimensions are 2 1/4" by 1 3/4" by 3/4".
