Description: I'm not sure if this is a Sevres vase or a copy. The interlaced L mark with E in the middle is a 1757 mark, but if that were true it should be in blue and this is black. All of the blue/green flambe Sevres glaze pieces I found were marked Paul Milet, which was from about 1930. I only know for sure that it is a beautiful vase (with flaws), 4.5" tall and 2" wide, with a green background and blue dripping over the sides. The vase has a bunch of flaws, seen in the photos. The top rim has a lot of tiny chips, including a 1/2" hairline crack coming down from the rim (seen mostly on the inside). The shoulder of the vase has a tiny chip that reveals the white porcelain through the glaze. One area has a whole bunch of tiny nicks or scratches, and there are several others scattered around. The bottom rim has a 3/8" wide chip, plus several others. One photo reveals a hairline crack on the side of the vase, but it's really only visible when you shine a light on it from an extreme side angle.
