Description: Travel back in time with this Stradivarous copy violin, made in Germany. With a 13-1/12'' body and a 22'' scale length, it is a 7/8 size violin. "Seidl" is stamped on the back. The inside label reads "Antonius Stradivarius Cremonensis Faciebat Anno 17 , Made in Germany." The writing above reads, "Repaired by Everett Gandee, 7-2001." Spruce top. Two-piece lightly flamed maple back. Maple sides and neck. Bone nut. One fine tuner. Cosmetically, it looks alright. Scuffs, nicks, and scratches on the top and back. Some nicks on the sides. There is a repaired hairline grain crack on the treble side that goes all the way up and down. There is another repaired hairline grain crack by the tailpiece on the bass side. Functionally, it plays. The pegs and peg holes are in good round. The fingerboard is in working condition. The bow is stamped "Germany" by the frog. The bow is unhaired. It comes in a modern hard case. The handle, latches, and hinges work. Questions? It will be well packed with plenty of new 1/2" bubble wrap and shipped in a new 32"x19"x7" stout cardboard instrument box.
