Description: This is former Mercury Astronaut, Scott Carpenter's fascinating story of his NASA years, especially his Mercury-Atlas mission aboard Aurora 7 which launched May 24, 1962. I had this 1st edition hardbound book signed in person by Mr. Carpenter back in the 2000's at an astronaut show. The book does have some light wear to the dust jacket including a scratch near the right edge starting across Mr. Carpenter's image. It is still in very good condition and would great for any space enthusiast. Winning bidder to pay $4.85 for media rate or $8.30 for insured priority shipping in the United States. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me and I will do my best to get them answered.
