Description: This offer is for one Scarce and Attractive 1789 G.S, George III Spade Half Guinea Gaming Counter token / Jeton. This lovely colonial British specimen is believed to be # 2260 in the book "A Thousand Guineas +Plus+" by W Bryce Neilson & Martin R Warburton. This coin was minted by Thomas and George Simcox from Birmingham, England during the 18th century as can be seen by their Initials (G.S) under the bust on the obverse. The detail is great with the designs and legends somewhat matching those of an authentic period Spade Half Gold Guinea. This piece is clearly old and made of Brass or Bronze and is 100% Guaranteed. Note there is a fingerprint to the right of the bust as can be seen in the photos. Some pictures may appear slightly darker or lighter due to lighting. The picture showing the measurement with ruler shows numbers in MM / CM. Weight is in Grams. If purchasing multiple items, please reach out to us prior to payment so we can insure combined shipping.
