Description: This is a magazine back issue, Vol. 36 of Sampler & Antique Needlework Quarterly magazine. It is from Fall, 2004. These are wonderful magazines, filled with historical information about samplers and other types of needlework and needlework tools. There are also a number of sampler patterns included in each issue. This issue contains Part 3 of The Waterfield Band Sampler. Also included is Part 1 of an article entitled "Scrimshaw: The Sailor's Art". I obtained this magazine at an estate sale. I am sure it was read by the original owner, and I read it as well, but it does not appear to have been used to stitch any of the designs. All pages are intact and overall, the magazine is in very good condition, although there is a fairly large bend across the upper corner of the right front cover.
