Description: 0 For sale is a 45 RPM vinyl single from Safaris titled "Image Of A Girl b/w 4 Steps Of Love", originally released in 1962 by Eldo Records. I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, then into a storage box for seven inch 45 RPM vinyl records, that was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity until today. In the dead wax between the labels and the end of each track is machine stamped "Image Of A Girl delta 35089 b/w 4 Steps To Love delta 35089-X", indicating that this record was pressed at Monarch Records' pressing plant, located in Los Angeles, Californis. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. The vinyl is visually graded as Very Good because of superficial sleeve marks and hairline surface scratches, none of which can be felt with a fingertip, but still with surfaces that are shiny and bright without any scuffs, scrapes or smudges. I'm play grading this single between Very Good (Side One) and Very Good Plus (Side Two), because of super low levels of surface noise, none of which over-powers the vocals or the music. It plays all the way through without any pops, skips or lock-ups from start to finish. You would be hard pressed to find a copy of this record in this condition, especially a Monarch pressing.
