Description: This is a Russian made porcelain/composition doll in a historical Russian Summer or early Fall walking dress . This costume was commonly worn in the early19th century. The cloth used for this doll is mostly cotton with the bonnet being made of satin as well as the trim on the bodice and purse. She stands a little under 10 3/4" tall and is about 7 1/2" " at the base of her skirt. From the waist down, the doll is made of a round cardboard cone.She was made in St. Petersburg, Russia.
