Description: RARE RPPC POSTCARD OF ELDRIDGE, NORTH DAKOTA View of the I.L. O'Dell General Merchandise & Machinery false front building. It also houses the Post Office per the sign on the upper far right sign above the windows. In the lower part of the window there is a poster advertising the C.A. Wortham Shows coming to town. On the right side of the building is a tethered horse team and buckboard wagon. In the foreground of the photo is a horse and wagon with a couple in the seating. Directly next to the wagon is a Model A ? car. To the far left side of the building you can see the Red Sentry Filtered Gas Pump, there is a motorcycle at the pump (you can't see all the cycle though). If you look closely you can make out another gas pump just over the shoulder of the man sitting next to the first gas pump. To the left of the sitting man is a propped sign advertising Sentry Gasoline. Altogether there are 12 people in the scene. Standard size postcard. Fine condition for age, showing light fading and wear to corners. Writing on reverse, Eldridge, ND Cancel. Date c1910-1915, (date not readable on the cancel).
