Description: A set of 4 delicate and beautiful Royal Adderley Bone China Floral Napkin Rings. Each napkin ring has been expertly hand decorated in a way which is rarely seen today. The relief floral feature and leaves would also have been sculpted and applied by hand, as was the gilding. The colors of each are still vibrant, and the rings themselves show little to no signs of wear.These are very fragile and there is a very small amount of damage to one of the purple blooms which I have highlighted in the last picture.Adderley's Ltd was founded in 1906, and the name on the backstamp, Royal Adderley, was used post 1947. After changing hands a couple of times, Royal Doulton acquired the pottery in 1972, and discontinued the use of the Royal Adderley brand somewhere around the the middle of that decade. So, as far dating these, it would be somewhere between 1947- 1972 (?).
