Description: Romanian WWii helmet cipher Carol badge Interior in good conditionThe Dutch military helmet has an extremely interesting story. The negotiation of the purchase took place in 1937, agreeing on the delivery in 1939 of the Dutch model 1934. Thus it became Dutch model 34, Romanian 39, in short 34/39. It was preferred for the distinct profile which, after the surrender of the Dutch after a week of German bombing, became the profile of Romanian soldiers in World War II. From the Dniester to the Don Bend and from there to Budapest and the Tatra Mountains. The helmet was used until 1958, when the Soviet SSH40 helmet took its place as the dominant helmet in the People's Army, gradually entering reserve. In 1968, amid the tensions in the socialist space, it was decided to return to the helmet model 34/39. Until 1973 it returned to its old status, this year the helmet model 1973 appeared which, according to production, took its full place.
