Rolleiflex Bay II (42mm) Lens Hoods Caps & Covers for 3.5E E2 Type 1 & 2 ONLY

Description: There are so many different Rolleiflex 3.5 TLR models. This set of options are only for the following with a 42mm viewing lens to taking lens distance. (See the second photo. Your camera must have NO GAP between the taking and viewing lens):Rolleiflex 3.5 ERolleiflex 3.5 E2 Type 1Rolleiflex 3.5 E2 Type 2 Lens shades are very important for photography and while the single shade for the taking lens works perfectly and keeps flare down, you also need to shade the viewing lens. Without a dual shade you will see flare in the viewing lens and this will make it difficult to compose and focus. Just line up the red dot with the center of the lens and turn the shade combo clock-wise. The shade will snap into position! Do the same thing for the Dual lens cap. I am an inventor and designer with 70 US patents. I am always looking for ways to improve things. I own a lot of cameras, mostly film, and am always looking for someway to improve my photographs. I am sure I could have purchased second hood for some of the cameras, but hoods are rare and expensive for TLRs. For that reason I designed and 3D-printed this hood and cap for my 3.5E. It takes almost five hours to 3D-print the combination. As is normal for FDM 3D-printing; there may be gaps, protrusions and imperfections in the surfaces of the print (see photos), but none of these imperfections will impede shading of your lens.
