Description: * DescriptionIt has been checked to work properly. It has some scratches and dirt, but it is still usable. About the JD-990Released in 1993.It can be broadly described as a sound module version of the JD-800 described above, but with several additional and enhanced functions.Despite the fact that this unit had a rack-mountable body, a large dot matrix type display was used to make sound creation easier, compared to the displays of other rack-mountable synthesizers of the time. This increased the amount of information displayed on each screen compared to conventional models of the time, making it easier to grasp the main-subordinate relationships between each parameter. In addition, the waveforms of envelopes and LFOs were shown not only by name and value, but also as diagrams, making it easier to grasp the image. The following are the points where the JD-990 has been enhanced and expanded on from the JD-800.The capacity of the built-in wave ROM has been increased from 4MB (108 types) to 6MB (195 types). The majority of the additional content is from the company's JV-80.The JV series SR-JV80 series expansion board can be used. One board can be installed. The waveforms recorded on this board are played back correctly on the JD-990 for forward-playing sounds, but reverse-playing sounds (those marked “REV” in the manual) are played back in the forward direction on the JD-990. For this reason, patches that use reverse-playing sounds will sound quite different when played on the JV. The patches included on the board are divided into three types: those for the JV-80/JV-880/JV-90/JV-1000, those for the JV-1010/JV-1080/JV-2080/XP series, and those for the JD-990 only. Patches for the JV-80/JV-880/JV-90/JV-1000 will be replaced with any that exist in the JD-990 parameters, but any parameters that do not exist in the JD-990 will be ignored. Examples of things that are ignored are TVF filter modes set to BYPASS (OFF) and those that use reverse waveforms. For this reason, patches that use these will sound quite different when played on the JD-990. Patches for the “JV-1010/JV-1080/JV-2080/XP series” cannot be used with the JD-990.The only board that contains “JD-990 exclusive” patches is the “Vintage Synth” (SR-JV80-04).Some of the patches for the JV-80 have been added to the presets. It is now possible to specify the panpot for each tone.Matrix modulation is now possible.Three new LFO waveforms have been added: sine, trapezoidal, and chaos.Oscillator sync function added.FXM (frequency cross modulation) function added.Analog feel function added. The number of structure types (the order in which each tone is connected) increased to 6 types (only 1 type on the JD-800). These types include ring modulation and -24dB filter functions.Polyphonic portamento is now possible. The input and output of each effect (distortion, phaser, spectrum, enhancer) in Group A is now stereo. The delay effect can now be synchronized using MIDI clock. In Performance Mode, it is now possible to play with the same effects as in Patch Mode. However, this is only possible for one part (called the “Super Synth Part”), and only for this part can the settings of Group A in Patch Mode be used as they are. For the remaining parts, the effects of Group A of each patch cannot be applied and will be ignored. Group B can be used, although the settings are the same for all parts. The number of parts in Performance Mode has been increased (7 synths (including 1 super synth), 1 rhythm). The number of audio output terminals has been increased to a total of 8 (Mix out (LR), Direct out (LR) x 3). * ShippingWe ship using FedEx, DHL and Japan Post. * PaymentWe usually ship within 5〜10 business days of receiving cleared payment. * International Buyers - Please Note:Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
