Robert Burns: Poems and Letters (1882, HC, Vintage, Gall & Inglis)

Description: A hardcover copy of 'The Poetical Works and Letters of Robert Burns' published by Gall & Inglis in 1882. The outside of the book has rub wear and stains. There is bump and rub wear along the edges, with damage to the corners and both the top and bottom of the spine. The gold gilt page edges have scratches and rub wear. Inside there is a bookplate pasted to the front pasted down endpaper, as well as a name written in pencil. There is also some pencil markings in the upper corner of the first page, and a few pages also have a small amount of random pencil markings in the margins. There are also some pages with stains and smudges. There is splitting to the spine at both the front and back of the book. A very small section of pages at the front of the book are loose and partially detached, and a couple pages at the book are completely detached. A couple pages at the front also have a few tears. There is a little waviness to the pages. A copy with wear and tear, and with a few loose and detached pages at the front and back of the book, but nearly all of the other pages in the book are still in great condition for the age.
