I'm 2nd owner but I'm pretty confident what happened was this was given as a present to a young child who tried to open the box not realizing it was a model kit requiring a lot of work. Box on bottom is unsealed but unfortunately top and sides were ripped trying to figure out what was inside. I re-taped sparingly to take pictures. A great candidate to actually build vs putting the box on the shelf as a collectible. Priced accordingly.
