Description: This is a cold cast resin statue of the Greek Titan and God Oceanus who was the god of the great, earth-encircling River, Okeanos, the source of all the earth's fresh water in rivers, wells, and springs. He also regulated the heavenly bodies which rose and set into his waters. Oceanus is dressed in a hide loin cloth held by a large metallic belt and is holding a trident . A god of water, he is standing on raging waves and is crowned by crab claws. His main coloring is a shaded bronze color with a few "sea" green highlights as seen on his large belt and in the waves. He stands 10 1/2"tall without his trident and 11 1/2" with it. 7" wide, and 5" deep.This statue is from the Studio Collection by Veronese Design.The original box is included.
