Description: Up for sale here is this rebuild kit for the Eico 950, 950A, and 950B. At this point the original Eicos are at least 55-60 years old, and the old parts are weak and failing, with leaky capacitors and crumbling cords. We will make them new again! This kit includes a new replacement AC power cord and replacement film and electrolytic capacitors. It also includes an instruction sheet to explain how to install everything. This does not include any tubes or resistors. New caps are one Supertech 600v electrolytic capacitor, one Supertech 450v electrolytic capacitor, 5 Supertech 630v yellow film capacitors, plus one Vishay safety disc cap--you will get the exact parts shown in the picture. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts--these are the same parts I use when I rebuild test gear. The parts included are modern equivalents of the original parts, with the same uf values, except the old 4 uf 250v cap is replaced with a 4.7 uf 450v cap, which is fine. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but rebuilding tube gear is somewhat complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. This kit will not fix everything that could be wrong with your equipment, but it will certainly help. Please see my pictures for details.
