Description: REALTONE Model 2424 AM/FM/MB/SW 4 Band Transistor Radio, JAPAN, Needs Work* Vintage, Pre-owned Realtone Electronics Model No. 2424, Battery-Electric FM/AM/MB/SW Radio for parts or repair. The radio powers on with the attached power cord. The battery option was Not Tested. The volume knob just turns around and around and the volume works at various points in that cycle. (It doesn't turn off or run from low to high.) The FM and AM had channels with static, but got nothing on the MB or SW in our rural area. The collapsible antenna is 23". Radio is approx. 9 1/2" x 6 1/" x 4" and weighs about 3 1/2 pounds. Sells as is for parts or repairs. See photos and video for further details & condition. The radio casing is damaged around edges as shown and the radio was not removed from the casing at all. Further damage between the casing and radio is unknown.
